Holy Night

Night of the defenceless, the poor, the desolate, the embarassed, the ones without answers, the ones with red eyes, the lonely ones, the ones who left and never came back, the ones who have travelled the long road, the ones who sleep under a bridge,  the ones who raise a child alone, the ones who never became what they wanted, the ones with the shattered dreams, the ones who tried to catch the train but missed it and there is no other one coming, the ones facing the inevitability of death, the ones who have found the truth but have no one to tell it to, the ones who loved only to be betrayed, the ones who never said “I love you” to the only person they loved on this planet, the ones with anxiety rooted in their guts, the ones who cannot sleep at night,  the ones without reason to be.
